For much of recorded history, we have braced ourselves for The End. But despite our deepest fears and most arrogant efforts, we are still here, and the Earth still spins. But for how long? Today, we feel (and see, and smell, and taste) the effects of the climate crisis, but despite what's in front of us we tell ourselves grand stories- stories that paint us as the heroes. But are we really?

Today, Tonight, Soon transports us to an apocalyptic shoreline that has never seen a human man. Is it luck? A curse? An isolation of some sinister design? As these sisters anticipate the arrival of this fabled Rowboat Man, who is meant to be their salvation, we discover the power of fairytale and propaganda, of innocence and ignorance, and of the lies we tell ourselves to make it to tomorrow.
