“A New Orleans couple awakens in the middle of the night to find their house filling with water. Seeking refuge in their attic, they grapple with the rising water and the life they have lived together. Caught between an attic of memories and a rooftop that reveals a sea of sunken houses and wailing sirens, the man and woman wait for rescue. (Rising Water was nominated for a 2008 Pulitzer Prize in Drama, commissioned by the National New Play Network)”

“In Sean Graney’s The 4th Graders Present An Unnamed Love-Suicide, members of Johnny’s class take up his script and act out their own struggles with childhood bullying, body image, and the loss of innocence. The tragedy of Johnny’s death and his poetically troubling wishes for revenge make this provocative new play a poignant perspective on growing up, peer pressure, and self-worth.”
